Okay. So from what we have so far I want to start talking about possible ways to reorganise if we're going to do this. It seems like we've got a few different tactics that could become team focuses and some thoughts and issues to sort out so I'm just going to throw what I took from all of that out there and we can figure shit out from there.- Aggressive offensive attacks, up to and possibly including killing Death Eaters
- This would be our revised offence team. Emmeline made the comment that not everyone on the team has to be ready to kill and I think she's right about that, but I at least want to make sure we weed out all the moralistic bullshit from the membership.
- Also we shouldn't think about this in terms of our current teams - members or leaders - we can move stuff around however we need.
- But this is taking us down a path where we're directly attacking Death Eaters and really I'm not entirely opposed to the march in their house and slit their throats plan but I'm willing to accept that I've got some personal issues there
- Setting Death Eaters up to take the fall on their own side
- This would probably fall under recon but I'm going to be the first one to admit that I'm not comfortable putting this out there as an option for people who just don't want to get blood on their own hands. I'm not opposed to the idea itself but I think the moral justification to say it's better to get them killed by their own side than at our hands is chickenshit at best so if we're doing it, someone else is going to have to be in charge.
- Kidnapping
- Not exactly a popular option but kidnapping those society girls is pretty much the only thing we've done that's gotten us a solid reaction from the Death Eater camp and I don't think that's something we can ignore. It may not have been handled particularly well and I don't know that the targets were the right ones but I'm not willing to rule it out as an option.
- Defence
- Training for our own members needs to continue but there may be some room for something of a sort of white hat humanitarian team that'd publicly be it's own organization. So we've got a couple of offence teams running around under different names and attacking Death Eaters but there's also this other group that helps- ward Muggleborn houses and hides people in safe houses, that sort of shit.
- Communication
- We may want to turn this into a couple of groups publicly just to get the message out more effectively, so it looks like it's coming from a few different organizations. Obviously the radio is under this and yes, keep Dorcas and James off the fucking radio. Posters, pamphlets, trying to get more shit in the Prophet, all of those are things we should be working on too.
- Healing/Strategy/Research
- Some of our teams we're going to want to keep as is and they're probably just going to be internal groups. Maybe the healing team can be a part of the humanitarian shit? But especially if we're moving to more offensive tactics, the healing team's going to be more important than ever. Strategy and planning might as well just be us though and research should probably stay as is.
- Other shit
- What am I missing?
- How else can we think about dividing this up on the public/appearances side?

I know I haven't been around but I've caught enough in the journals and from the other team leaders and that fucking debacle of a radio show to know that what's been going on for the last month with half of you five seconds away from someone else's throat and the other half of you not wanting anything to do with anyone needs to end now.
Dumbledore asked each of you to join the order for a reason and each of you accepted for a reason. There are 24 of us and each one of us has different strengths, weaknesses, morals, ideas... Oh for fuck's sake, you can fill in the blanks of the rest of the speech about accepting our diversity and working together through our differences and all that bullshit.
The point is, there are a few basic things that everyone who is a part of this organisation needs to accept and agree to.- You need to be able to work together. You don't have to like each other. You don't have to get together for drinks together on the weekend. But I don't give a shit how much you hate each other, if you can't put aside your differences for five minutes for the good of the Order, you don't belong here.
- Team Leaders are in our positions for a reason. We were chosen by Dumbledore to provide leadership to the Order. Again, you may not like us. But we're not here to be your best friends. When we tell you to do something, you damn well better do it. If you've got a problem with an assignment, the time to speak up is when you first get it, not a week after the deadline.
- You're not going to agree with everything the Order does. You're not going to be forced to participate in a mission that you're not comfortable with but that doesn't mean that the rest of the Order is going to be held to the wishes of the most squeamish among us. This isn't a democracy.
- This is a war. You all know that by now, I hope. And in case you can't figure out what that means, there's going to be casualties. Some of our own. Some at our hands. Some are just collateral damage. Get used to it. It doesn't mean we're not going to do everything we can to stop people from getting hurt but we've got to stop letting every little setback be the end of the world.
If you can't agree to these things, this isn't the place for you. I'm serious. I want each and every one of you to state that you understand and agree to these four things. If you can't or don't want to do that, we'll obliviate you and send you on your way.
Now if you're staying, what I want you to do is sit down and write a ward - just to the team leaders - telling us just what you think the Order should be doing to fight the Death Eaters. If you think we should be attacking them? Say that. Be specific. Are we trying to kill or just destroying all their worldly possessions? If you think we should be making posters and writing letters to the Prophet, then say that. I don't care what you say as long as you've got something to offer. Because if you don't have anything constructive to say then shut the fuck up.
You have 72 hours.

And people can be on teams based on what they're actually willing to do.

Yesterday's conversation got out of hand but I think there are still some important things we need to finish discussing.
I think you need to say something to the rest of the Order. Whatever you think is appropriate, but as much as you can reassure everyone that you take precautions to make sure you don't hurt anyone, that you're a werewolf but you're not like Greyback and his ilk, the better off we'll all be. Letting this just hang out there isn't good for anyone.
And if you're going to include your friends in that ward, I'd recommend telling them to back off. People are going to have questions, not everyone is going to be prepared to just happily accept this and James Potter screaming at them is only going to make things worse for you.
You misled me and I can only assume deliberately about the precautions that you take on the full. So I'm going to ask again. What precautions do you take for the full? And does Albus know that the four of you weren't staying in the Shrieking Shack?

Okay so we've got this list of known Death Eaters and we've all had some time to process who's on it, it's time for us to get our shit together and start doing something with the information we've got.
Recon to start. Everyone's got a Death Eater they're being assigned to keep tabs on. I know this is going to be hard for some of you but you're going to need to use your brains on this. If you can get close without getting yourself killed, get close. Some of you have been matched up with people you have some connection to for that reason. For the rest of you, don't suddenly decide to try and become best friends with some purist bastard. Just keep an eye on who they talk to in the journals and what they say. Try and find out where they're living and if you can handle it, go and take a look at what sort of wards they've got. Whatever you do, the goal is to get as close as you can without getting caught and that's going to mean different things for all of you.

They operate in a hierarchy, with Atticus Avery, Antonin Dolohov, Bellatrix, Rodolphus and Valere Lestrange, Sabriel Mulciber, Jonathan Nott, Augustus Rookwood and Solomon Rosier forming an "Inner Circle." They're the ones taking direct orders from You-Know-Who and passing them on to the "Outer Circle" which is ranked based on their successes and failures. And they've got some kind of point system where they get points for killing people - Aurors earn the most - and whoever gets the most points gets a promotion.
The kidnappings were definitely a Death Eater activity. Mulciber, Travers and the youngest Lestrange were responsible for the first round; Greengrass, Selwyn, Snape and Evan Rosier did the second. None of the kids knew what it was about, just that they were kidnapping people to observe them while they were poisoned. The last round was to test out the venom from the spiders they released in DMLE and see what happened after they poisoned you. They've been holding people in one of Valere Lestrange's properties outside Dorset. I'll have to double check my maps when I get the chance but I'm pretty sure I know the one.
They didn't know why the Minister is appointing purists, but Lester Morrison was killed by Valere Lestrange and Sabriel Mulciber, Elizabeth Winchester was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange and Evan Rosier, Patrick Rathbourne was killed by Walden Macnair and Conrad Warrington and Paul Stanley was killed by Rabastan Lestrange and Aston Mulciber. They're trying to stack the deck in their favour.
I damn well hope I don't really have to spell this out but this information goes nowhere outside this ward. No we're not turning it over to DMLE because I don't want to spend ten years in Azkaban. If you have to work with these people, you act like nothing has changed. They have no idea they've been outed and I want to keep it that way.

So. I just spent the last two hours obliviating Alastor Gumboil. After fucking chasing him through Hogwarts and sending him down a flight of stairs.
Here's the thing about secret vigilante organisations. The secret part is pretty much key. Some of us don't want to get our arses fired because some Ministry loyal hitwizard has managed to put together all of the clues you people have left behind that are about as subtle as a fucking bludger to the head. So now we're going to have a talk about discretion. You think it doesn't matter if you're a little too friendly with someone who have no reason to know in public? Think again. People pay attention to this shit. And if you don't give a shit about a hitwizard putting two and two together, think that a Death Eater could have managed just as easily. If you don't have any decent reason to know someone outside the Order, don't act like they're your best friend in public. That includes public journal comments and entries. Learn to come up with decent excuses for shit that aren't completely fucking out of character. If you get injured in training or off on an Order mission, get yourself healed up before you run off to see someone who isn't in the Order. This is basic fucking shit, people.
And if you want to know why I'm talking to all of you when half of you probably don't even know who Alastor Gumboil is, it's to show you just how much someone who pays even the slightest bit of attention can get from things you don't think twice about doing.
And so we're all on the same page about what's been going on for the last few months as far as Gumboil's concerned.- Emmeline, Frank and I helped you with your hitwizard training.
- Lily, you never lived with Frank and Alice and you're friendly with them because you went to them when you were thinking of becoming an Auror.
- Edgar, go easy on the concerned dad routine in public.
- James, you're friendly with Dorcas from playing quidditch together
- No one mentions Dorcas and Andromeda getting arrested. Ever. I couldn't even begin to come up with a good cover for that one so we're making the file disappear.
- Frank, you apparated to St. Mungo's after you tried to get yourself killed. No portkeys to Hogwarts.

- Desmond, everyone missed your birthday dinner because of a flu going around.

- The Death Eaters got into Al's flat because Frank, you were careless with the wards (don't even start with me, you deserve it) and Dorcas, they came after you because you wouldn't stop picking fights with Evangeline Yaxley. He was pissed off but now he's mostly over it and just annoyed. Act like you've been fighting with him for the last month and I swear to god you'll be the next ones stunned and obliviated in my basement.
- Frank, Alice, anyone else who may have noticed or cared, Al's pretty much been at St. Mungo's with Frank whenever he wasn't at work for the last week. Being the good, concerned friend or some shit.
- Emmeline, Dorcas, whichever one of you thought that taking a healer for a walk at midnight was a decent excuse for anything, you're fucking fired.

I know it's been a rough few weeks and more and more questions about what the fuck we're doing with all the shit going on around us. I know some of you get frustrated because we're telling you to stay out of shit and let DMLE handle it when things go wrong. Because when we can let law enforcement handle things, it's easier for everyone and we get to avoid things like people getting arrested. But we've got an opportunity to do something that DMLE can't fucking touch. Just so everyone knows, Lily's Muggle sister was killed last night. It seems pretty likely that it was Valere Lestrange but not enough that we can send DMLE after him. Which is not an invitation for any of you to go running off to try and get revenge on her behalf either.
But if you've got any good plans for seeing that fucker dead or spending the rest of his life in Azkaban, I'm all ears.

Also I've managed to get myself assigned to the Yaxley case. We've got more than enough evidence to arrest him but these fucking spiders mean pretty much everything's on hold until we can get back to our office. No matter how much Rufus tries to say it's business as usual around here you're not missing a whole lot besides everyone sitting on top of each other and snapping at everyone else.
But do you know where the fuck Dorcas Meadowes is? I need to get an official statement from her before I can arrest Yaxley and hospital records say she was discharged yesterday but she didn't leave an address and Gumboil's flat's still a crime scene.

The problem is our ability to track him is pretty much limited to where he is at any given point in time. Good work, Marlene and Remus. Hampstead got out just fine, by the looks of it. No idea where the fuck he disappeared to but alive and safe is all I care about at the moment. I got to the scene in time to take down the Order wards before Andrew showed up so as long as he doesn't say anything about me breaking protocol and going in alone, we should be good. Official report to DMLE says two civilians fought off the Death Eaters with no discernible reason for why they showed up.
So that just leaves the question of if you were recognised by the Death Eaters.
And Marlene, you should show your pants dropping manoeuvre to the offence team at your meeting tomorrow. I suggest demonstrating on Frank.

Emmeline, I'm guessing there's no way in hell you can get on the Tonks and Meadowes case, but the closer you can get to it the better. Sleep with someone if you need to, I don't care. Get me an actual copy of that case file and I'll buy you something shiny and everything.
Frank, Alice, one of us needs to find a reason to get down to the holding cells and talk to those two but first we need to figure out what the fuck their story is going to be.
Sirius, how well do you know your family tree? Any way we can find some loose connection between Andromeda and the Edgecombes to explain why the fuck she was at their house? I know they're fullbloods but if someone married someone or whatever, it'd be helpful. Ted, likewise with Andromeda's friends - any sort of personal connection between them would be good. Frank, the same for Dorcas, I guess.
And if anyone has any brilliant ideas for stories that won't end up with the two of them charged with something or on Barty Crouch's personal shit list, please, we're all ears.

What are your thoughts on Emmeline Vance? As a possible team leader. She'd be the first one of us who hasn't been here since the beginning but someone's got to step up and take Moody's spot and with the way DMLE's been going lately I don't think it's good to have Frank and Alice keep pulling double duty with the teams. Not that I'm so sure another team leader from DMLE is the answer either since we're all running a little short on free time but at least she's trained.
